Christine Long
Christine Long spent many years walking the beautiful Trout Haven lakes for exercise and entertainment since she lives in the neighborhood. She decided she should work here so she could stop hiding from the resort Security Patrol. Chris was born in Wisconsin and has eight brothers and sisters who all still live there. She is the only wandering sheep in her family. Christine moved to Colorado in 1984, and in 1995 she moved up the pass to Trout Haven Estates.
Christine retired from the Postal Service, and feels fortunate to be able to work at the Lost Dutchman Resort since she has watched it grow and change over the years. Christine is our Administrative Assistant and works mostly in the office. She’s been employed by the Resort since 2009, and last year she won a prestigious “Innovative Thinker” award from Pete Kuyper for her creative and resourceful problem-solving skills.
Christine has two sons and a wonderful grandson, James, who is ten years old , who enjoys spending time in the mountains riding quads with Grandma Christine.
Camping is on her list of favorite things to do at the resort. Christine is in the process of learning how to become a “snowbird”. Someday it is her goal to stay in the beautiful mountains of Colorado for 8 months a year (the warmest months) and 4 months a year fly the coop to the warmer climates in Arizona or New Mexico.
It’s no secret how much Christine loves the Lost Dutchman Resort. Her enthusiasm to be here shines through on a daily basis and is quite contagious!
Christine is a strong member of our team and we are very blessed to have her.
